Meet & great at Pemba Airport or Seaport and drive to Fundu Lagoon Resort for overnight stay. Fundu Lagoon is a small privately-owned Boutique Hotel in Pemba island offering natural barefoot luxury in a unique Tanzanian setting. The Resort is situated in a very quiet and semi secluded area. It is one of the best places and most recommended for the real relaxing holiday makers. The Hotel has its own private white sand beach overlooking the crystals clear waters of the Indian ocean. It is located in a walking distance to the village which gives Tourists a great time to explore and experience the village life in a real sense. We arrive at Fundu Lagoon Resort, we check and relax in the Hillside room. Dinner and stay overnight on all-inclusive basis.

We take breakfast in the morning and check out before we leave for Chake Chake tour at 08h00 to explore this part of the island with its treasure. The Business Town and the Capital of Pemba Island, Chake Chake is located in the middle of Pemba island on the western side about 15 minutes’ drive from Karume Airport, 30 km from Wete and a little less than 28 km from Mkoani. The tour offers a great chance for history and culture lovers to know and understand the history of Pemba through time. Lots of key buildings are still in place. The Guide will take you around to visit some of the most interesting sites and historical buildings such as the old Slave Port, the Old fort, English Garden and the Fish Market, etc.. Either during or after the tour, as you are leaving today, we will spare sometime for shopping where you can buy some souvenirs and gifts for your Family, friends, colleagues etc. After the tour, shopping and lunch we drive directly to Pemba Airport to catch our flight to Zanzibar, Dar es salaam or to any other destination. End of our service.
